Apparently Some People Leave Butter on the Counter All Day

I just found out some people leave BUTTER sitting on the counter 24/7 and somehow think that’s completely normal.

I genuinely didn’t know this was a thing.

I’ve always kept butter in the refrigerator because…

It’s dairy.

That was the entire thought process.

 

Butter goes in the fridge.

Milk goes in the fridge.

Cheese goes in the fridge.

Yogurt goes in the fridge.

Done.

There was never a family meeting about it.

Nobody handed me a rulebook.

I just grew up knowing that when you bought butter, you put it in the refrigerator.

 

End of story.

Then I found out there are people who buy butter, take a stick out of the package, put it in a little covered dish on the kitchen counter, and just…

Leave it there.

All day.

Every day.
